Christmas Mush

December 25, 2002

Merry Christmas, everyone.

I'm sitting here on Christmas Morning, reflecting upon my life. I'm a happily mushy mood. I've been inspired in that direction as of late. I've discovered mush agrees with me, so I think I'll keep it. I'm also listening to the happy sounds of Tango knocking a bunch of things over in my mother's bedroom. Nothing broken, thankfully, but the day is still young.

Speaking of mush, I have a response to my ramble yesterday regarding my newfound love, from none other than the lady I've fallen for. She made me promise to post this, and not change a word of it. So here's a short ramble from Kel:

"Since my wonderful, rambling girlfriend decided to announce to all of you that she had, indeed, stolen my heart, I thought that maybe I'd throw in a thing or two. First of all there's Val, (and I know she's reading this): While she will deny it now, she knew exactly what she was doing when she introduced me to Celine and I for one will never be able to repay her for that. Celine was the best present I could have asked for or wanted, but Val was the proverbial "guiding light" that led us to each other. I thank her from the bottom of my heart.

As far as Celine goes, many of you out there already know what a capable, intelligent, funny, beautiful woman she is and thanks to her ramble earlier, now you know she has stolen my heart. She is also warm, caring, exceedingly compassionate and, truth be told, sexy as all get out!! She was absolutely right when she said that love can just "pop" up at the most unexpected times. I want all of you to know that while we haven't known each other that long, that I do love her and consider her as much of a gift to my life and my heart as she said that I am to her. Yes, I love you Celine, thank you for that gift.

So, I echo Celine's feelings about hoping that all of you find what your heart most desires both during this Christmas season and all through the year."

*sigh* How could I not love this lady? Maybe I can convince her to do a full fledged ramble someday soon, because her sense of humor is very spiffy and would fit right in here. Yes, I am biased, but it's also true.

Okay, enough mush for now. Peace be with you all, and have a very merry Christmas (or whichever holiday you celebrate), and I hope this coming year is a good one for all of you.
