A Christmas Dilemma
By Celine the Rambling Queen (uber@wvi.com)

"Ho, ho, ho!" said Santa Claus
As he hopped up on his sleigh
"It's that time of year again
So I'll just be on my way!"

Once aboard his trusty sleigh
It started to creak and sigh
Guess ol' Santa ate and ate
And now his weight was extra high

He went to take off from the ground
The reindeer, they tried and tried
But it soon was very clear
St. Nick was too heavy to ride

So Mrs. Claus, a kind and gentle soul
Stood and thought, then she realized
She could don one of Santa's smaller suits
From years past, and just her size

Mrs. Claus took the reigns and yelled
For the reindeer to be on their way
But when she got back to the Pole
Santa's diet started that very day

Because Mrs. Claus, she loved him so
But he really was getting fat
And as for the job of delivering presents
Well, he could just take it back

We all know that it's Mrs. Claus
Who really runs the North Pole show
And Santa wasn't going to get away
With ditching his one day job, no no!
