Home of the all-too-true Tango the Wonder Kitty and Purple Plaything tales!
Welcome to... well, I'm not sure exactly how one would describe my ramblings. Better you should read one and find out. G'wan and wander through the latest ramble... it won't hurt a bit.
Things you'll find here: periodic ramblings (usually once a week, maybe more often) covering such hard hitting topics as cats (Tango the Wonder Kitty is an alien), M&M's (happiness in a candy-coated shell), adventures in scootering on my Purple Plaything (girls kick ass!), and various other things as they pop into my brain.
Be sure to join the announcement-only mailing list (no list chatter) and get the ramblings delivered right to your email box. It will make you happy.
NEW! I've started posting my blog ramblings to the mailing list... so if you aren't a member, you should be. Really. It's spiffy. Join today. This will probably replace the old way of posting ramblings here on the site (see below), but I haven't really decided yet.
LATEST RAMBLE:
- Check the Random Ramblings Blog (last updated: Wednesday March 19, 2008) for the latest ramble. That's right, friends, the Random Ramblings Blog - it tastes great, is less filling, has fewer calories than other blogs, and is 100% caffeine free! It's a good thing.
RECENT RAMBLINGS:
- The Dog Days of Summer (August 13, 2003)
"It's brown. The carpet, I mean. In the family room. A lovely semi-pile with varying degrees of brown-ness. I mention this only to remind myself of what it is, underneath all that... fur. It's impossible to walk in the family room, our primary place of residence within the house, without stepping on fur-covered bodied of the canine variety."
- A Matter of Destiny (June 24, 2003)
"She came to me two weeks ago, with liquid brown eyes, gleaming black hair (tipped with brown), and a style all her own. She laid claim to me, and hasn't let go. I am hers, and she is mine. The fates have led us to each other. It was destiny."
- There Once Was a Girl From Oregon... (May 7, 2003)
"Um. Hi. Remember me? I, uh... I'm that person who rambles. Or rather, I was. I kinda haven't done that recently. See, it all started when life kinda got screwy."
- A Beached Palm and Turkey Fun (Jan 24, 2003)
"I killed it, and now it's dead. It served me well, yet I snapped its little face with no forethought. It was so easy, yet so deadly. Yes, friends, I killed my Palm."
- Mechanical Love (Jan 14, 2003)
"In Tango the Wonder Kitty news, he did another interesting thing yesterday. The dishwasher's door was propped open slightly to let the hot air evaporate, and Tango, being his industrious self, used his paw to open the door all the way, climbed up on it, and sat down."
